Film Screenings & Presentations
The New Jersey Punk Rock Flea Market doesn’t just make noise, we screen it too. Our film screenings bring punk, hardcore, underground culture, and DIY weirdness to the big screen with documentaries, special presentations, Q&A’s, and visual chaos that hit just as hard as the rest of the weekend. From stories about the bands and misfits who shaped the scene to future plans for a DIY film fest built around homemade band videos and beautifully busted underground filmmaking, this is where the NJPRFM gives the moving image its rightful place in the mayhem.
Heavy Healing

Join us for a very special screening of Heavy Healing,
Created by Howie Abrams in collaboration with Jammi York and Seth Abrams, the documentary explores how punk, hardcore, and heavy music have helped people survive some of life’s harshest realities, including cancer, depression, anxiety, addiction, and other personal battles. The film features voices from across the heavy music world, including figures such as Vinnie Stigma, Jimmy Gestapo, Jesse Leach, Jesse Malin, and Michael Alago, among others, each helping paint a larger picture of music as catharsis, connection, and medicine.
